If you wondered when next Joomla version will be ready, we can inform you it will be soon. Joomla 3.4 is stable version which replace current J! 3.3, and will be published in the middle of July 2014.  Every major version as Joomla 3.5 will have minium 4-year lifecycle, no more LTS/STS. With the old support model the users were confused and most of them didn't really know which Joomla version they should use.
