Accessing An API Upon Registration

Can I customize the registration form to access an API to check for membership?

We manage our membership to our association with a 3rd part program. We want to check for membership in that program (true/fals) using the 3rd party program's API when they register for SP LMS. Is that possible?

May I have a screencast about it, please?

The registration form comes from Joomla core usually, so it should be a Joomla question.

You may try ask that third party extension provider if they can help.
