Addon Articles three dots before readmore

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi guys,

I hope you can help me with this.
On an Addon that shows articles, I have 3 dots before the read more.
I do not want them :-)

All Joomla modules and layouts can be overwritten.
Is it right that that is not possible for the page builder addons?

I have the setting to show a lot of text before the read more.
But i just want him to shows the article until the Joomla read more and adds the button.
Not the ...
There is no class around it to simply hide it so it is kinda forced to show them.

Am I missing a setting here or does everybody wants the dots?

1) It's on our list to improve, as you noticed you're not the first person who wanted to disable them.

2) Those dots are inside site.php file, in line 186

3) Guide how to override Article (or any other) addon you will find here:

indeed you have to remove those dots from addon code.
It was at least 2 topics about this same in past.

Hi Paul,

Where is this code? Is this possible in an override?
I think you should make a checkbox to rather show or not show these dots.
At least add a span around these dots so you can hide them easily and style them if you want, its not easy possible to give it an other color or size if you want they are kinda lost in translation there ;)
I now use Rereplacer of nonumbers to hide your dots haha

Know that I love SPPagebuilder so no critic on your product just the dots ;-)
