Addon edit window width

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Would it be possible to either increase the width of the addon popup window in backend editing or to allow us to choose a width?

At the moment the modal is restricted to a relatively skinny 700px which is particularly problematic for the Text addon, or any other using the text editor, as it means we have a pretty small space in which to see the actual content (see attached image).

Would it make more sense to allow this modal to increase in size for larger screen dimensions? (I do realise this might affect the layout of other adds with simple text fields becoming quite large).

Hopefully, there is a way... which I used from time to time.
1) Create a new file here: administrator/templates/isis/css/custom.css

2) Inside put

.sp-pagebuilder-modal-content > div.sp-pagebuilder-modal-small
{width: 860px !important;}

*instead 860px you can use a different value as well.

Hi Paul

Yeah that's the route I've gone for now, was just in case it might have been sensible to increase (or allow for the increasing) of that addon's width as I imagine most folk have screens with large enough resolutions to handle a wider area.

FYI I used:

.sp-pagebuilder-modal-content > div.sp-pagebuilder-modal-small
{width: 70%; max-width:95%}

So it could adapt to screen dimensions a bit more and also ensure no overflow on smaller screens.

In desktop, laptop 15'6 most users have more than 1366 x 768 resolution anyway ;) :D ;)

but I agree % can be OK in this case
