After update to 3.3, cannot edit sp pages on both back and front end.

Featured Lock Resolved
When I try to edit from backend, the edit page loads blank. If I click on frontend edit it keeps loading forever.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi,
please clear browser cache deeply, especially if you use Chrome.

Use 2nd alternative browser to check, confirm too.

@newlife
Sorry, but what is relation SPPB with Helix settings? Those are two separate, independent products.
Maybe it's problem with your browser. Please check on different one.
Update, or reinstall Helix Ultimate to v1.0.3.

I have seen only today 5 websites with HU +SPPB 3.3 and everywhere I was able to save changes in HU layout.
----
Yes, please you can try uninstall SPPB.
But I can only guess it's problem with different extension, maybe cookie module, or extra plugin.

Yes, I can save changes to SPPB, I can't only save after importing a template page. When i save...the browser says: You want to leave this page?

Maybe problem with php 5.6?
I've update a second site anche all works fine....

Hi Paul.

Thanks for responding. I have been following the thread and trying all your suggestions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled sppb twice - no luck. I have also installed Helix ultimate and tested with it, still the problem persists. Cleared all joomla cache - no luck, Used Safari - no luck.

Please keep in mind that my case is a little different.

1. I am having a problem editing Pages that I created with SPPB before the update. The page in question is my english homepage and french homepage.

2. The inability to edit the pages happens in the SPPB backend and also when I click the frontend edit button.

3. On the backend clicking to edit the page loads a black page, see screenshot.

4. On the frontend, only shows the loading icon indefinitely, see screenshot.

Kindly provide a troubleshooting guide. Thanks.

So I just figured out something.

It seems that SPPB does not like https://

I had my global config>Force https on for both front and backend. I changed this to none. Logged out and logged back in with the http:// and I was able to open, edit and save the existing pages i.e the homepages.

Please advise if this is a correct diagnosis and if there is a fix because I'd like to run my site with force https on.

Thanks.

Any update on this issue?

After uninstalling and re-installing SPPB 3.3 The joomla integration no longer works. Disabling and re-enabling it does not activate it and all articles created with it is now gone.

Help!

I have almost all sites with HTTPS mode, and I no problems. I am not alone, huge group of SPPB users have enabled SSL.

I can guess it's problem with your hosting/PHP settings.

Please check point by point "PHP configuration"
https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/sp-page-builder-3#getting-started

Use PHP 7.0.31 or better 7.2

AND
Make sure that you use THE LAST version of Helix3 or Helix Ultimate.

I am already on 7.1 I don't have 7.2. I have downgraded to 7.0 still the issue persists.

I can't figure this thing out.

I have the same problem. I've tried everything, nothing works. Frontend does not load after switching to SPPB 3.3
How to fix it, or roll back SPPB to 3.29?
