Article not displaying in Category Blog

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
I've used SP page builder to create and style an article.
When I use single article option, it shows up fine.
However, when showing as a category blog, the article is blank.
Is there a setting I need to change?

It shows a text only version instead of sp page builder version.

I cannot use the prostar template. This is a full production site.
It looks fine because you are not seeing the article because I've hidden it from public.

I've checked your site and found that your template has an override of the default blog view. Please contact to your template providers. They can help you better. And it's actually noting related to pagebuilder.

-Thanks

Then why doesn't it show correctly when I switch to a different template?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I found you didn't used any image in your images and links section. That's why pagebuilder article addon couldn't showing the intro images of your articles.

That is not correct.
I didn't use them in the other articles either.
You are showing a different, unrelated option.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I think may be i'm not understanding your requirements properly.
1) I think you are trying to get this look http://prntscr.com/mpq4y2
2) But you are getting this look http://prntscr.com/mpq4qy
3) For other articles you've used an image here and that's why it's showing it in frontend. http://prntscr.com/mpq41t
4) But when you've created any articles using pagebuilder then you need to use that image in any of these marked places http://prntscr.com/mpq24m and only then your image will be shown in list view. Because the list view won't show the images from pagebuilder.

Please let me know if i misunderstood anything.

I think you are understanding correctly, but why does it not show text or images with the pagebuilder article in a category blog when a regular joomla article does?
Why does it only show the title?

I have several pieces of text and images in the page builder article, why would they not show in a category blog?

Hi,
Please check this screencast https://files.fm/u/kkacsf8c
I think it'll help you understand that how to create articles using pagebuilder. And where your intro text and images will come from.

-Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to do this, but no, it does not answer the question.
Why does a normal article display text and images in the category blog without problems, while a page builder article does not?

Sifat - Staff

Hi,
Actually that intro image setting option is from joomla default. That's why you need to use the image from images and links tab. Since joomla only shows it's default image in category view that's why it's not getting image from pagebuilder. And that's the only reason to show images from joomla's default editor not from pagebuilder.

Hope you understand.

-Best Regards
