Background image for maxima slider...

Featured Lock Resolved
Would like to add a background image to the Maxima slider here:

http://heatingcooling.mrfurnace.com/

Where the inside white space is...I see the embedded css is:

#sp-smart-slider116 .maxima-slider, #sp-smart-slider116 .maxima-slider .slider-item
{
background-color: #ffffff;
}

But the slider module doesnt allow for images, only color. Is there a css rule I can add to put a basic background image ? Thanks

Hi there,

There no option to upload background image but you can add the background image by editing the slider. To do this go to Go to modules/mod_sp_smart_slider/tmpl/maxima/view.php and find bellow line:

<div class="slider-item <?php echo ($index%2)?'even':'odd'?> <?php echo ($index<=0)?'animate-in':''?> ">

Here you can add the background image by adding a style attribute. Check the attachment but keep in mind that this background image will be applied to all slider.

If you want to use a different background image for each slider then you need to work on this slider code but unfortunately, we don't provide any customization support on our any product.

Hope it will help you.

Regards,
Shibbir.
