Behaviour of Certificates menu item

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi,

Am I right in thinking that the menu item of 'Certificates' for SP LMS only shows a list of certificate images relevant to the user you choose in the menu settings?

I'm struggling to understand the logic of this feature, I somehow assumed I would have a way for a logged in user to easily see their awarded certificates, but the current method seems to suggest I need to create a menu item for each user manually?

Maybe I'm missing something?

Thanks for any help.

Chris

Hi there,

Thanks for your query. After passing the quiz you have to apply for the certificate.

Thanks Toufiq, I understand that aspect - what I can't get my head around is how a member is supposed to access their certificate? The SP LMS Menu option for 'Certificates' needs me to select a specific person and certificate, however that would be a massive management task to do this for each new certificate on a busy website.

How should we be showing these certificates to students?

Thanks Toufiq, it would be a good solution in my mind that a menu item could be created to show all the certificates for the currently logged in user or when a certificate is generated in the administrator area of the website, it is emailed to the user (both would be excellent!) :)
