Blog Date causes blank screen in News Show SP2

When we upgraded to News Show SP2 version 2.9 in our test environment, selecting "Blog" for the date format causes the page with News Show to break with a white screen (and very little code in the source). Selecting the other date formats work. And it works in our production environment with version 2.2.

I upgraded first and, when the extension didn't work, I uninstalled News Show SP2 and installed it again fresh in the test environment. So this is a fresh install.

Here is a link to the News Show SP2 v2.9 module in our test environment with most of the default settings in place and the date format of d F y selected. It is working.

Here is a link to an exact copy of the same module on a copy of the page -- the only difference is that the date format selected is "Blog". (I did test it with a diffferent date format to make sure it worked and then changed it to Blog.)

Here is the production version using v2.2 with all our settings including Blog date of the module http://marketers.familyfeatures.com/about-us/company-news

We are running Joomla 3.4 with Shaper Maxima v1.2. We have set an override of the date format set to l, F d, Y

Wow. Finally a reply after almost 5 months. When we didn't get any response after a few weeks, we developed a workaround. If this is an example of Joomshaper's customer service, it is very disappointing.
