Breadcrumbs position in shaper_pheonix

Featured Lock Resolved
I can't get my modules to show in the position breadcrumbs. I have looked in the template file index.php.

Nothing about breadcrumbs is mentioned there. Is there something i should add? How is this done?

Need help on this one. Thank you.

breadcrumbs module will display in subpage, not in homepage.

I tried to place a banner in breadcrumbs. I searched for it in subpages. The ad showed up, but in the wrong place, it showed up just under another ad placed in user-top.

If the first problem is solved, is there a possibility to make breadcrumbs display on every pages? A patch? Instructions somewhere?

I got another problem as well. My problem is to make ads show on my blog. I ask these questions in the same thread. I hope this is ok?

I have a image ad placed in bottom1, that one works and displays in all pages. Tried with a text ad on the same module position, that does not display at all. Both are java scripts.

1. You can display breadcrumb in every page by modifying below code.
Open the content.php from the layout folder and add below code

<?php if($this->countModules('breadcrumbs')) { /* Module Position breadcrumbs */ ?>
<div id="breadcrumbs" class="clearfix">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="breadcrumbs" />
</div>
<?php } ?>

instead of

<?php if((!$this->isFrontPage()) && ($this->countModules('breadcrumbs'))) { /* Module Position breadcrumbs */ ?>
<div id="breadcrumbs" class="clearfix">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="breadcrumbs" />
</div>
<?php } ?>

Do you want to show the bottom ad only for blog page? If yes, then set the module for that menu item.

I have now replaced the code.

Still got one problem left. Breadcrumbs are not displaying where it is supposed to, it appears just under the user-top position and not below the content.

Thanks in advanced!

Ok, delete the above code you just modifed.

Now add the below code in your templates index.php file just after line <?php $helix->loadLayout(); /*--mainbody layout--*/?>

<?php if($helix->countModules('breadcrumbs')) { /* Module Position breadcrumbs */ ?>
<div id="breadcrumbs" class="clearfix">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="breadcrumbs" />
</div>
<?php } ?>
