Caching in Joomla

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
I'm having to clear all SP cache in Joomla caching to refresh my browser and see my changes.
How am I supposed to work around this issue ?

I can set the Cache time to 1 and refresh within the minute, but that don't sound right, not consistent.

EDIT - Ok, I figured out my own problem. Ends up that in Joomla>Global Config>System Under Session Settings, the Shared Sessions has to be checked to Yes. Maybe I missed that in the setup instruction or maybe it's related to another setting, but it's fixed. I'm thinking that it also might of played a part in some of my front end editing not saving.

I'll have to look more into "shared sessions", but it's a fix with System Cache off.

edit - Works with system caching too.

shared sessions - is useful when you want to edit from front-end being logged on back-end and vv.

In general edit page from one side only, do not open this same page to edit on back-end and front-end - otherwise you may lose control what was edited.
