Hi,
I can tell you you can for 100%:

a) create a 3 columns layout
b) Inside each column you can add almost unlimited numbers of addons
c) yes, you can add accordion addon as well , inside content of tas you can add text, images, links
Sorry I didn't tried with youtube clips yet

d) All tabs in accordion can be closed by default, or first can be opened

Paul,

I'm looking to do the same thing that Rupert asked. I must be missing something, unless you are talking about custom css to add three columns with in an accordion there is no such setting. This would be huge for my restaurant websites. I use the Tabs Addon as well and would love to add columns where I could put addons in. Right now, I'm just coping and pasting code from the cuisine template (menu addon) to achieve two columns in a text addon's content box within the accordion or tab addons.

If this can really be achieved, I would love you guys more than I already do!

Another way to do this would be to create a SP Page Builder module with whatever columns and info you want, and then have that module in the Accordion content area. This would work with Tabs as well.

I'm in the same boat.

I need 4 columns inside an accordion with buttons that can be dragged into other columns within the accordion menu. Every month my customers add and take away buttons of their manufactures for their retail stores. I understand that I can create a module and do it that way, but it won't be as easy for them.

I'm currently using Gridbox for them at the moment, but am trying to move everyone over to SP Page Builder. Gridbox allows for columns inside tabs and accordions with drag and drop functionality - A feature that is HIGHLY USEFUL.

Example 1: An Accordion with 4 columns and buttons set at 100% width
https://dextermill.com/brands

Example 2: Accordion inside tabs with 4 columns and buttons set at 100% width
https://thedogstorepetsupply.com/#our-brands

Take my money, I'll pay for this feature or add-on. It is important that my customers can add & delete their own buttons inside the accordion / tabs.

Does anyone have ANY IDEAS on how to achieve anything like this, or even an alternative solution?

PS, the ability to add any add-on inside the tabs and accordions is awesome! I think we just need columns where we can include add-ons similar to Gridbox.

Side note: I like how Quix has the editing screen as a modal pop-up in the middle - It's similar to Wordpress's "DIVI" which is easy to use. I Paid for Quix and others testing every single page builder along the way, SP is the best. I just think I have some good ideas on how to make it better after testing everything out there.

If you know at least some CSS + HTML, you can inside accordion item > text > use 3 or 4 columns using bootstrap style, by adding them in HTML mode.
Example code for Bootstrap3 / helix3:

<div class="row">

<div class="col-md-4 col-xs-6">
Column #1 Lorem ipsum...
</div>
<div class="col-md-4 col-xs-6">
Column #2 Lorem ipsum...
</div>
<div class="col-md-4 col-xs-6">
Column #3 Lorem ipsum....
</div>

</div>

if this trick works inside Testimonial Pro, it should work also inside Accordion addon.

Ok, I will ask our developer what we can do for upcoming updates.

I'm using this trick already, I appreciate your time. I hope the developers can figure something out. I'll pay extra to have this add-on.

I think the objective should be to create columns inside the accordion and tabs. The we can add the add-ons to each column.

about buttons, you can add extra "button" style for all links inside columns, maybe it's not a perfect solution, but it may work.

It's just not easy enough for my customers to update... I try and keep things very simple for them. Which is why their system was built on Gridbox.... I Use SP Page Builder for all big clients, who typically don't update their own sites. I'm not happy with the page load times I'm getting with gridbox and have to make a change.

I have to make over 50 websites... I'm working on putting together 8 template choices for a specific market. I have everything figured out except the brands section (see link above)...

They need to be able to easily add/delete/copy & drag and drop new buttons. They are often in alphabetical order, so a lot of dragging and dropping is required. The frustrating thing is that it is usually the only section they update on a weekly or monthly basis.

I don't care how I achieve it. As long as I can teach a grandma to do it.

That is why having the option to add SP Section columns to accordions and tabs would be HUGE.

Here is there editor:

balbooa _ com/demo-admin/index.php?option=com_gridbox&view=editor&tmpl=component&id=19

You can add sections and columns everywhere... It's crazy. The development is poor though. I have problems with CDN, load-times, etc...

All I want to see is the ability to add "add-ons" (Buttons) inside section columns of the accordion and tabs. Again, there are many other web developers out there looking for this. Did I mention this would be huge and I'll pay extra? lol, I appreciate your time Paul. I am 100% behind SP Page Builder and have a lot of experience. I hope you find my suggestions, feedback, or custom request accommodating.

Make an SP Builder module (extensions/modules)... add the buttons in the rows how you want.. Go to your page and in the tab/accordion just choose Joomla module and DONE! Name the module something easy for your client to edit and just don't publish the name. When your client needs to edit it he/she can just find it in module manager. This will also enable to you edit on multiple pages if they wanted. Easy Solution. Let me know how that worked out.

It's seems like the best solution for right now... I'm trying to keep everything limited to frontend editing. So having them go-to the module manager would be an inconvenience. I'll have to do do tour suggestion for the time being.

Remember, I'll pay to have this custom developed.
