Category for Articles Scroller

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Hi there.
How can I link the sites I made with Pagebuilder at the Articles Scroller? I have only the option to select categories. But I don`t have any articles or categories at the Joomla Backend menu.
If I create a category, nothing will be displayed at the scroller, because the category is still empty.
Is it only possible to include Joomla (or K2) articles and no SP Pagebuilder Sites at the Scroller or the Ticker?
If I only want to display news, is it possible to "unlink" them at the Scroller?
I hope you understand what I mean. My English is not the best. Sorry for that...

I do not want you to be able to click on the content displayed at the Article Scroller. Only different phrases or offers should be displayed without being able to click on them. Is this possible?
