Center the images in the carousel using SPPageBuilder

Featured Lock Resolved
Hi Team,

I have gone through the forum to check for a possible soultion to my problem. I have found a solution to center the images in the carousel but I am not able to get this working even though I have added the mentioned text

.carousel-inner img {
margin: 0 auto;
}

into the template.css under "/templates/shaper_helix3/css/".

I am sure I am doing something wrong, is there something else required in the SPPageBuilder settings ?

The webpage in question is http://www.promatco.com , you can see I have two carousels which both have the images on the left instead of the center.

your help is highly appreciated!

Regards,
Philipp Krause

I am using SP Page Builder Pro v1.3 with Joomla 3.6.

Hi Philipp,
Yes, little bit wrong.
First please read: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix3/custom-code-settings
that you will know that you have to use custom.css instead of template.css to add your own css classes.
---
2nd - images are too small. they have only 1000px of width - and they should 1240px
--
I hope you have Helix3 v1.3

Hi Paul,

many thanks for your response on my issue, I have gone through the suggested document. I will add the required custom.css file as described.
With regards to the point number 2, I have had these images centered some time back (3-4 Months ago) but during a joomla update this was lost.
I will first try to add the custom css code and if that does not help I will make the size of the pictures wider.

I have checked my Helix3 version and it says 1.2, I have downloaded the latest version 1.3 (template only, not the quickstart kit) but after successfully installing it through the extension manager I am not able to see version 1.3, it still says 1.2 .

As the site is already being used, I am not feeling very comfortable just overwriting the files via sftp in the templates folder, however if you can confirm that that would be required I will give it try, creating a back up first of course !

sure, you can do it via CSS . but why don't you use bigger images instead?
