Change "rate" of articles being changed in article scroller

Featured Lock Resolved Task
I'm using article scroller to show featured articles on the front page, but I need to change the rate at which articles are scrolled - not the speed of motion (how fast they move), but the rate (how often they change).
By default is seems to 'scroll to a new article' every 4 seconds. That is too fast, people cannot see enough in that time - but I cannot find a property to control it. The "speed" changes how quickly the scroll happens, not how often.

Hi,
This setting probably is inside:
components\com_sppagebuilder\assets\js\jquery.bxslider.min.js

Yes - it is called pause and is in the "Auto" parameter. I can change it in the .js, but that is dangerous because updates can over write. Can you point me at the calling php so maybe I can pass the parameter in or something? Other parameters are passed in from sppagebuilder, so I know it is, at least, theoretically possible.

Sorry, code customization is beyond support.
But in theory, if you need this customization on single subpage only,
maybe you can load the modified JS file after our file is loaded, so it should be used instead.

Okay - not a lot of help, but not a surprise. BTW - I did not ask for custom code, just a pointer to the calling php so I could customize it myself.

You may want to consider adding this function to the sp pagebuilder addin. It seems obvious that you would want to control the rate of slide change. Other parameters in that addin are currently supported and being put into the code. Just not this one.
