Community Builder Compatibality Registration Error

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi,

I am using community builder to set up registrants for our website, however when new users enter their details and hit sign up we are getting the error below

Warning: require_once(/home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/templates/shaper-startup-biz/error.php on line 49 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear72:/usr/share/php') in /home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/templates/shaper-startup-biz/error.php on line 49

I have contacted the community builder developers, and they have suggested this is an error coming from the template, hence the reason I am posting here. Our registration has been working fine for a wile now, so I am not sure why things have changed. Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,

Elizabeth.

Hi Eli,
I am not sure if this may help, but please try:
DELETE that folder
templates\shaper-startup-biz\html\com_users

so Joomla will use default code from Joomla core.

Hi Paul,

Will I lose any user information by deleting this folder?

Thanks,

Elizabeth

Of course not. Those are only TEMPLATE files. Login & registration views override.

Hi Paul,

I have tried removing the folder you have suggested and it has had no effect. I am still getting the warning:

require_once(/home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/templates/shaper-startup-biz/error.php on line 49 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear72:/usr/share/php') in /home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/templates/shaper-startup-biz/error.php on line 49

Thanks,

Elizabeth

Hi Paul,

I have updated Helix and changed the error.php and am still getting the error:

Warning: require_once(/home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/templates/shaper-startup-biz/error.php on line 50 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/document/html/renderer/head.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear72:/usr/share/php') in /home/sites/http://mysite.co.uk/public_html/templates/shaper-startup-biz/error.php on line 50

Thanks,

Elizabeth

Hi Paul,

I was also looking through the directories and I cannot seed one called "document" under /public_html/libraries/joomla and as the error seems to be mentioning that location, is this what may be causing the issue.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

Can you make a quick test (3min max):
1) Please install Helix3, then set as default template and check CB registration process again

2) Have you tried normal registration, from Joomla not CB

Hi Paul,

I am not to confident in setting my site to the default template as I am worried about all the setting I may lose through any custom changes that may have been made, I am concerned about issues this may create to my live site, also we have been using community builder for a long time now on our site and have a lot of users set up through it, so changing to normal registration will cause a few headaches with managing users. Is there no other options I can check before changing templates.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

You can recover site backup on test subdomain, and test there.
It would be also a great opportunity to check if you backup work correct.
