Contact Form w/reCaptcha not clicked

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Hi, I am using SPPB 3.4.7 at https://bit.ly/2V4Qb8N
On the contact form, two problems:

1. The "Send Message" button is active even if the user has NOT clicked on the reCaptcha (still waiting for ver 3), So if the user doesn't click on the reCaptcha and they click on the "Send Message" button, it deleted all their contact info and it just sits there with no error/warning messages. So the user never knows if their submission worked or not. Confusing!

The SEND button should not be active until the user has clicked on the reCaptcha first.

2. The position of the reCaptcha is random in the forma area.

Thanks

Hi,
Ad 1) Contact addon use reCaptcha v2 only.
About connection with send button, I am not sure if this is possible.
Please note that some templates override contact addon with old code.
Maybe use Form Builder addon instead.

ad 2) It may be a template style issue.
Use Form Builder addon instead. It will give you more flexibility.

extra tip if you decided anyway to use overriden addon,
templates\shaper_oneclip\sppagebuilder\addons\ajax_contact\site.php

use this

.sppb-ajax-contact-content .g-recaptcha {padding-left: 15px;}

to correct that

Paul,

1. Yes, as I mentioned above, we are using ver2 of reCaptcha and still waiting for ver3 for SPPB.
Anyhow, I followed your suggestion and replaced the contact form with Form Builder addon instead.

But using Form Builder addon, is getting error and doesn't work:
Email sent failed, fill required field and try again!

I am using Shaper_oneclip template, just installed it newly. And SPPB is ver 3.4.7. Can you please test it on your side and let me know how to fix it?

Please check one thing.
In Joomla Global Configuration -- there are mail settings, there is also Test Mail button -- check & test

Paul,
When I used Contact addon, I was receiving email fine so there is no issue related to Joomla config. So to repeat the problems again:

1. On Contact addon, regardless of whether the user has clicked on reCaptcha, SEND is active. So the purpose of reCaptcha is useless. SEND should not be active until the user has clicked on the reCaptcha first. This is a normal behavior for all other websites.

2. You suggestion of using Form Builder addon, it has a different bug. It is getting error and doesn't work:
Email sent failed, fill required field and try again!

Do you guys have a fully tested form that works with reCaptcha and normal expected behavior?

This seems to be a very basic functionality. I can't go live with the site until we have a working Contact Us form!
Thanks

In fact, my form does NOT have any required fields. But it is still shows error:
Email sent failed, fill required field and try again!

Perhaps SPPB doesn't recognize the user has clicked on the reCaptcha and it thinks "fill required"?

Are you guys able to test these scenarios at your shop?

Update: With the version 3.4.8, the Form Builder addon now is working correctly.
This ticket is resolved.
