I would like to change the heading of the "Subject List" to something else. I've not found a place in the admin panels to do it...thinking maybe it can be modified in the code?

Well, I tracked down the file that contains those values. For anyone who might want to make similar customizations, this is the location of the file:

<root directory>/language/en-GB/en-GB.com-spkgarten.ini

I changed the following values:

COM_SPKGARTEN_SUBJECT_LIST
COM_SPKGARTEN_SUBJECT
COM_SPKGARTEN_SUBJECTS
COM_SPKGARTEN_SUBJECT (it's listed twice)

Saved this file, refreshed website in browser, and my changes now appear.

I do not use another language, but that is a good tip to know. I will keep that in mind for other sites I manage. Thank you for the help.
