Deferring offscreen images

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hello,

I'm frustrated by some PageSpeed results that show exceptional performance for the desktop version of my site, but the mobile scores are suffering, even though I have many areas set to "hide on mobile".
(Using SP Page Builder & Helix Ultimate)

PageSpeed Insights suggests "Deferring offscreen images" to decrease mobile paint times.

I've tried to use LazyLoad via JCH on the suggestion of others, but I'm not seeing an improvement. I've also since learned that LazyLoad can cause further issues.

I was referred to the following article for more information, but I don't have a clue as tto how to integrate this;
https://varvy.com/pagespeed/defer-images.html

Any advice is most welcomed!

Hi,
Helix is template only, it displays content from modules, components, and articles - so it's not guilty.
---
With the current version of SPPB Pro I cannot help more, it does load this same images for desktop and mobile.
but I added your suggestion together with another one. So let's have hope for improvement soon. Thanks for the link.
