Disable social media issues

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Good Morning,

I have solved all my issues by with developer tools available with Firefox and a little research. However, I cant seem to figure out how to get rid of "witter Consumer Key not defined.", cant seem to locate the add-on mentioned in previous posts. Looked using page builder and other tools.

Have disabled all the obvious plugin/modules relate to any kind of social sharing options. At this time I don't need any social links etc. Also, need to gid rid of all share icons within the article previews nad from all pages.

I am testing helix to see if it will work better than the T3 framework so far I am impressed!! I see there is some learning in my future.

Awesome so far and thanks for any help with this.

Thank you for the reply, already tried that. did not see add on labeled Twitter, a little experimentation revealed it was add-on labeled Joomla add-on. That fixed the missing key notice. However, all articles still have the social share icons. Hover on that and it shows icons for facebook, twitter, and etc, they are not functional because i disabled social sharing. Anyway to get rid of those? Tried publishing new article after disableing the share function icons still there. Any ideas?

thanks

Hmm,
in that case, cut off all social share links from
templates\shaper_newskit\html\layouts\joomla\content\social_share\share.php

DELETE code from line 21 to 51

---
This is the only place where social share from template are stored.

some progress created a custom css file with .sppb-post-share-social {display:none;}

icons on home preview gone, still have them in article itself. Worse yet, they work even with all sharing disabled!

Thanks for all your replies so far, any ideas on remaining issue

as suggested I deleted lines from my share.php file, indeed I even deleted the file itself, the icons on preview are gone. However, the icons appear in the articles and they work even though sharing is turned off. Using web developer tools/inspector in firefox i see references to pretty social etc. Perhaps, an option to completely disable any social sharing would be a good idea, one click and they are disabled.

I now have 2 people who are interested in using this template and framework. One of them wishes to use this at business , intranet within the company and/or web portal for field personnel.

I am impressed with the Helix frame work and Newedge as well as the support so far. A big thanks to all of you.

Think I can resolve the rest of the issues I am having, for instance articles are filling entire screen. Trying to figure out how to add blank border on left and right side of pages.
