disabled mega menu (helix ultimate framework)

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Hi staff,

is it possible to disable default header menu and to use ONLY additional (mega)menu (from JED) in different module position not in "menu" position? I know I can add an addition menu module in different module position.
Otherwise, being unable to manage the (mega)menu module for helix template, how can I have different menus for different sections of the website using the helix megamenu?
I don't know if I managed to be clear... :D

ad B) If without extra menu modules, you have to create a different template copy (clone) with a different menu for each subpage. It's quite OK if you have only a few pages, but if more...
Consider using external Megamenu module instead, it would be easier to manage. Really.

Hi,
yes.
1) Use custom header (disable preset)*
2) Then instead "menu" use different module position name (for example "top3" ) and publish there your (extra installed) MegaMenu module

You could try before asking here... it's not an expensive car, you won't break anything

*In Helix Documentation is explained how to do this.

OK, thanks

I certainly didn't explain myself well. If I wanted to use ONLY the top menu of helix framework in header, but to have different menus for different pages?
In joomla I can do it using the module menu by assigning it to different menus, in helix it is managed by the template .... how can I solve it?
Thank you for your patience
:(
