Things that you can use for this purpose:
- standard Joomla setup of blog and articles layout
- articles modules
- overriding core joomla blog and articles layout php files
- css coding
- sp page builder with articles addons (not good for seo)
- your good knowledge of Joomla
- and fantasy that would apply this knowledge

Thank you for the answer!

- standard Joomla setup of blog and articles layout -> You mean edit the option of Helix Ultimate under template options?

And one more question.. Can I create a template with SP Page Builder and then assign it to all the articles in the website?

I mean:
- General Joomla article settings
- Category Blog menu item settings
- Helix Ultimate Layout Builder

You can create in SP PB layout for a single article, and export it to joson file. Then you can import it into a separate article staying in SP PB article editor mode. Create an associated template is not possible. Only export / import and only in single article each time.

First of all, you need to learn how to use the standard functionality and modules joomla to create categories and articles to be able to work with different types of standard menu item for the articles. Then you will understand where there may be a place for SP Page Builder in this.

Last (maybe stupid) question.. Nor with Helix Ultimate Layout Builder can I create a template and assign it to all articles (not in single article each time) ?

SP Page Builder allows you to create your own general-purpose page, edit a separate article and module. Nothing else.

So the only way to edit the article layout is by overriding the default php files, correct? Both Helix ultimate and SP page builder don't have this feature, right?

And by edit I mean to align the featured image on the left, move the sidebar on the top etc.

In order to create a template for all articles, you need to edit the template override php article file by configuring it layaut as you need via codding.

featured image on the left

It is edited in default.php or via css (which is easier)
move the sidebar on the top etc

This is configured depends on the module position. Any position of the module you can display anywhere means HU layout builder

Around the component area you can build any layout as you need to. But for editing layout inside component area you need to override php files or use css.

Inside component area operate all the components that you have in joomla. Such as joomla com_content (including the categories, articles, and other standard layouts of core joomla content), SP Page Builder, e-comerce components, K2, Zoo and many others.

What is inside the component area? For example the featured image of the article? My prefered design is to have on the left the image, title and body of the article and on the right side the sidebar. Can I achive that by aranging the module's position in the helix ultimate?

In this case, I am afraid that it will be difficult. You will need to override article php layout. More specifically, make a copy with a different name, and choose this layout in the article settings. It would be easy to make in Helix Ultimate Free via layout builder. But commercial templates as Newsberg serve for use as is. Their customization is more complicated.

Return back the Main Body settings in the layout builder, as was by default.

Overriding the layout should be done in such a way - to move div class = "newsberg-details-img-wrapper" (with all that is within) into the row ---> div class = "col-sm-6"

Ok, I understand. I think it worked when I tested it on the browser with inspect element.

What do you mean "choose this layout in the article settings"? Are there other layouts to choose?

When you create an overridden layout with a different name it will be available in the article settings.
