exlure a component from .item-page

Featured Lock Resolved
Hi,

i have Kunena installed on my website, and kunena is showing in the .item-page of your social template.

.sp-article, .item-page, .archive, .categories-list, .category-list {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
border: 1px solid #CACACA;
padding: 10px;
}

how could i exclude kunena from using .item-page without affecting your wall Css template ?
Sincerely,
Jordann

Add following code to any of your css file.

.com_kunena #inner_content .sp-inner {margin:0}
.com_kunena .item-page{background:none;border:0;padding:0}

Now save and refresh your browser.

I dont think its possible by default but you can apply a trick. You can modify the templates index.php file and customize body tag to following code
<body class="bg <?php echo JRequest::getVar('option'); ?> clearfix">

Now you can apply css due to kunena component.

Hi,

Sorry! you guys are too quick to respond! i got to check that forum more often!
Thank you btw!

The Red part here is what i would like to change to transparent or #EBEBEB instead of #FFF and i would like this change for the forum only since the forum is wrapped into .item-page.

do i really have to ''hack'' your template and/or kunena template or can i just had a custom Css class to my menu item forum witch would get kunena in a custom/transparent .item-page

Sincerely,
Jordann

Hi,

i did add your code in the template index.php and deleted the original body class
<body class="bg clearfix">

(backed up original).. but you say that now i should be able to apply kunena component css, infortunatly i fail to see where i am going with that! i wouldnt want to take you guys from other more important priorities! (like jomsocial template ;) ) when i asked the question i was thinking it would have been something simple via joomla custom css for a menu item, where i could have said ok from now one that you have clicked on forum, you dont use .item-page frame to display content.

So, i'd be happy if you guys help me to get my result but i wont mind you if you wont take that road :)

Sincerely,
Jordann
