Hi,
you have 3 options:
1) Use AutoTranslator, I mean Google Translator module Or Bing Translator module
2) Use Joomla built-in Multilingual system :
https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Setup_a_Multilingual_Site
and
https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/step-by-step-tutorial-for-creating-a-multilingual-joomla-site

3) And if you have some money to spend, use Falang extension

but this translates although the frontpage is built with page builder? since the tutorial indicates articles made with joomla modules ..

This same rule, each Page (from SPPB) can be assigned to different language.
Check Options

I do not understand yet how it is done, but I need to place two flags and that the visitor has the option to see the site in two languages, English or Spanish.

Thank you

If you configured Joomla Multilingual as it was in manuals and published language module, you should have flags to choose languages on front-end.

On youtube there are video clips how to use Multilingual in Joomla 3.x also in Spanish language (!)

Modules like GTranslate, or Bing Translator - do not offer quality translation. But for temporary period you can use them.

That is not unlimited? ... since it appears as value $ 0

yes, if price $0 is more important for you than high quality translation use GTranslate. It's only your choice.
I guess, we can close topic.
