favicon & Placeholder !!

two points :
1- I created a favicon for the website & as usual I saved it in templates / apps , folder but it still give me joomla favicon , what should I do ?
2- in the manin menu I want to make an menu item (parent Item) unlinkable , so I choosed item type "Separator" (placeholder) , now it's unlinkable , but the color of the menu item changed to grey , I want all the menu items to be the same color & font ?

please I neet your help urgently , for the intro page issue , I almost reached the deadline .....

1. There is a icon named "favicon.ico" present in your template images directory. You need to replace it with your current favicon. Then refresh your browser. If not work then try with another browser. If favicon change with another browser then its your browser cache problem.

2. Just add below code in your navigation.css file
#hornav ul li span.separator, #hornav_drop ul li span.separator {color:#fff;font-weight:bold;cursor:pointer;}
