feature request: master element page

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Is there an easy way to prevent elements from getting populated with default values. Like border radius that is 0 or the margin-bottom of 30px; (if I want to use a different padding in bootstrap or use a different line height that visually doesn't match, I have to change all these values manually. I would love to see a development where I can disable certain input fields (+ ACL) for editting which requires custom.css to style it. I love sp pagebuilder to visually design. But it is a horror to remove all settings per element.

Or a front end offcanvas master page to control all elements across the page that then are dynamically linked! When a user wants to override it, he can on the element. Much more logic!!

Here a small functional design for the purpose of having a sp pagebuilder master enviroment for all elements. Once you select an element, you have the option to override it, but not the neccesarry content (which for a button is the lin kand the admin label.

Please hurry, this is the one setting that is super annoying. I never use that default padding/margin set in every single addon, row, column I ad to a page. I have to go in and change every single last one every single time. Maddening to say the least.

I am surprised this was never discussed until 4 days ago.

yep, I understand why it is in there, it is just that now the builder is so good, it is time for a second step that has this behaviour. I would say, doing that makes it superiour for developers too where you do not have to build on helix but inside sp pagebuilder.

I generally do not want this much space between elements. It's very time consuming to edit every single element, row, column, an addon to get the spacing down. It's hardcoded into the settings, just allow us a setting to change those globally. Even if it's just for rows and columns, that is a good start.

In addition I would think that it is wise to add a wizard plugin that generates a custom bootstrap. So that we as users get a wizard like, how much padding, what button color etc. Then, with special classes override those for deviant elements. So basically, bootstrap influences the master element page data, in addition all other styling for those master elements is done inside a style.scss file.
