Featured Articles showing in frontpage layout

Featured Lock Resolved Task
I've seen this reported in some form or the other but I cannot seem to figure out what to do. On my site http://www.cybersafett.com/ my links from articles on the home page e.g. those under the 'Recent Articles' section show up with the home page layout i.e. slider and featured videos. I just want the article to show up and not all the home page elements. I've set those elements to display only on the home page but when the article is accessed (clicked) from the home page, it shows in the home page layout. I saw something about creating a hidden menu but I wasn't sure what to do exactly. Any help or youtube video on this is appreciated.

Hi, from template parameter advanced options select hide component area "NO" . Then you can see the feature article in homepage.

Thanks

Hello, thanks for your response, but this is not what I wanted.
I want to show the recent articles on the home page. However, when I click on any of the recent article I do not want to see it in the home page format.
So when I click on featured articles on the home page, I just want that article to show on a page without the main slideshow, the featured videos etc. I want it to look like a page similar to what I would see if I click on a main menu item.
Let me know if you understand or if i need to provide some screen captures?

Hi Jakir,

I tried what you mentioned below but that isn't what I want. I still need assistance in solving this problem. I want to be able to click on any article from my home page and have it shown without home page formatting. So I don't want the image slider or featured articles being shown. Just the article body alone. Can you assist?

Thanks
Daren
