Update from 21.01 Helix Ultimate and PB update = Font Awesome 5 Free not works

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
I installed the Helix Ultimate update and the latest PB update today.
Unfortunately, my Font Awesome icons have now disappeared from the articles.

These icons are designed in the custom.css.

.listIcon01::before {font-size: 0.7em; font-family: "FontAwesome"; content: "\f054"; color: #3E688C; padding-right: 10px; }

Also have the font family: "Font Awesome 5 Free"; tried again with font-family: "FontAwesom". Both no longer work from the update.

FontAwesom 5 is set in the configuration of Joomla. The browser cache has been cleared.

Unfortunately I have no more ideas.

What else can I try.

3) Use new icons from FA5 only, instead of old ones.
4) From old FA4.7 icons make graphics (gif,png) and use

fa.fa-glass::before{ content: url(glass.png); }

it will better than loading both libraries FA4 and FA5.

As you see I gave you 4 options how to solve now use your webmaster skills.

Got to the bottom of something.
The problem is that there are now 3 files that contain FA.

1. helixultimate / css / font-awesome.min.css
2. helixultimate / css / fa-v4-shims.css in
3. sppagebuilder / assets / css / font-awesome-5.min.css

For my new page I decided on the FA icons (free) about 2 months ago and worked with FA 4. Unfortunately only up to the latest update from PB and HelixUltimat.

Example of an icon that I had inserted in my page.
font-family: "Font Awesom 5 Free"; content: "\ f054"
see here: Fontawesome

This icon only works on pages made with Page Builder only.

Where these icons are not included !!
Some articles have a special header that was created with PageBuilder (module).
The icons are not shown in these articles.

So far I've found the following !!
Now I have tried different icons in fa-v4-shims.css and found the following.

All icons under the comment

/ * Icon name changed * /
and also in the area above

/ * Regular icons * /

{font-family: "Font Awesome 5 Free"; font-weight: 400}

as well exist in the article work. Unfortunately, other icons do not work (see following example)

Example: FA icons that work:

.fa.fa-trash-o {font-family:"Font Awesome 5 Free";font-weight:400}

.fa.fa-picture-o {font-family:"Font Awesome 5 Free";font-weight:400}

Example: FA Icons that don't work.:(

/*Missing entry in "Regular icons" in fa-v4-shims.css */
.fa.fa-mail-forward {font-family:"Font Awesome 5 Free";}

/* Icon name changed */

Blame the developer on FA5, yes we know that he removed part of the icon from FA4.7.
You can:
1) load both FA4.7 and FA5 and using CSS force using FA4.7 for .fa only
2) Keep old HU 1.1.1 for now

yes we know that he removed part of the icon from FA4.7

The icons I've always used in the article have not been removed. They are available in Pagebuilder.
I just can't use it in a normal Joomla article anymore. That worked until the update

1) load both FA4.7 and FA5 and using CSS force using FA4.7 for .fa only

sorry. unfortunately I don't understand what they mean.

Hello Mr. Frankowski, thank you for your patience. It's called service, respect.:)

Maybe there will be an update again, where you can select an icon from the list

Thank you very much

Extra tip:
Sometimes the missing icon is caused by "wrong" font-weight", FA5 has its own rules:
Use those, they are OK:
font-weight: 400;
font-weight: 700;
font-weight: 900;
