Font Awesome Not Loading In Modules

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
I was having issues loading Font Awesome on my page when just using an SPPB module. I could not figure out what was going on but when I added a feature box to a Joomla Article on that same page in SPPB the icons showed up.

The module in 3.6.5 or lower does not seem to load it from just a SPPB Module placed on a page.

Fontawesome icons are already integrated with SP Page Builder Pro. You can use them by searching or scrolling in the icon options. Please see this screenshot.

Hmmm, I wonder if you read my message?????

Let's try and explain this again. It does not load them with a module ONLY!!!

1. Create a SPPB module
2. Add a feature box with font awesome icons
3. Place on a page in Joomla
4. No icons show up

Only your component loads it. So without adding a SPPB page or using a Joomla article with SPPB integrated will these icons or the Font Awesome library load on the page.

Please test for yourself. Make sure you don't have Font Awesome loaded from any other source. A fresh Joomla site with only a SPPB module using Protostar will be enough.

How long will it take you to release a fix for this? I am placing these modules on a page with no SPPB component or SPPB Article on it and need to load the icons.

Article built with SPPB and feature boxes, icons showing, font awesome loading

Homepage is just modules, not page or articles, icons missing, font awesome not loading

Apology for the delay. Make sure you have set position for your module.

Default Protostar template with module only. Assigned to Position-3

I am informing you this is a bug. All features of the module should work on their own.

Hello, are you just going to ignore me with this issue? I really need help here!

Would you not agree the module should load the Font Awesome files required to display them correctly on any page?

I would like to know if you have an idea or can update this asap?

Hello, make no difference. This is for the component, not the module. I checked this right away. The module does not load them from this setting.

You don't realize that if no other source is loading these resources for Font Awesome the module alone will not load them.

Install a site with Protostar only, and add a module to a page with some icons. They will not show up. Check the network in dev tools and you'll see no files get loaded.

The module on it's own does not load these files.

Please go to this page. This is a Joomla 3.9.13 site with only the SPPB Module on a page with feature boxes that have icons set. As you will see Protostar and the module do not load the required files.

https://cosmicperception.com/

Showing me a site that your template loads the files is not an example. I need to be able to use the module on a page all by itself with no help loading these files.

Here an article is built with the same feature boxes and it works because the component loads the files.

https://cosmicperception.com/single-article

You see, the module all by itself does not load these files.

Hi there,

I have placed a module inside the protostar template position & it works fine.

https://prnt.sc/qce6vs

Is it possible to provide me your site administrator access via PM to check the issue?

-Thanks
Thanks for fixing this issue! Thanks for the update to FA 5!
