I just had the same issue, glad I found this post.

I added an exclude url to the JCH plugin for /edit and that did the trick.

Hi,
1) What SP page Builder version ? The last one ? 3.3 or older ?
2) What template name ?
3) You have this issue since beginning or suddenly happened ?
4) Try from different browser (FF or chrome)

I have the same problem. I've tried everything, nothing works.
Frontend does not load after switching to SPPB 3.3.

I cleared Cache,
Tried it in different browsers,
Tried with templates Helix 3,
Helixultimate, Beez3, Protostar,
Tried different PHP.
The frontend does not load.

Only re-installation of SPPB to version 2.9 helps.
How to fix?

Hi Paul
Thanks for your reply
I am using the latest version of SP page builder. My site is built from the helix ultimate frame work.
It did work initially and I am unsure when it stopped working. I have tried it with firefox chrome safarie and opera and none work. I have also reinstalled sp page builder and it still doesnt work on front end!

Hi Paul

Thanks for your reply.
I have actualy found the cause.
There is a conflict with jch optimiser pro. When I switch the plugin off the front end works perfectly.
I am not sure how to fix the issue apart from temperaly switching the plugin off when i want work with the front end editor. Do you have any ideas?
It seems JCH Optimese does interfer or conflict with a few plugins but does also speed up the site significantly.
Thanks and regards

probably you have to exclude JS files used by SP Page Builder.
Or exclude whole SPPB for test until you will not find which file has to be excluded.
In JCH Opt. Pro it's possible.

Lexx thanks for access,
quick questions:
1) with SPPB 3.2.9 was okay, or you had different version before ?
2) Do you use extra plugins to optimize code,
I am asking because SPPB scripts are loaded from the bottom.
You had to done something with order.

Lexx, after short investigation I noticed that you can edit those Pages which were added to menu.
I tested those pages : "test 333" "test only" "ГероСоцСеть" "10. ЭТАПЫ РАБОТЫ"

p.s.
I agree that because of sort of conflict you cannot use "Frontend Editor" button from backend.
But after you add menu item to Menu you can use edit button there and edit.

1. Yes, I had SPB 3.2.9. I can install SPB 3.2.9 again and everything will work fine.
2. No, I did not use additional plugins to optimize the code.

Earlier I observed only 1 problem when 2 templates (Helix 3 and Helix Ultimate) worked at the same time.
After that I disabled Helix3 (but did not remove).
