Hi,
front-end edition was added in SP PB 2.x Pro long time ago.
Maybe your template blocks ??
---
Please do simple test:
1) Install Helix3 template(if you don't have it), make it default for a 3 min
2) Login on front-end as a Super Admin and find Edit button on the right corner to activate edition

Hi Paul,

worked - as well with "my" template
the edit button was kind of "hidden"
close to the footer and totally on the left side - and it was not a real button - was just the word "edit"

not really good to see - maybe you know the reason or could help ?
otherwise - it is working an good so far.

thank you Paul

kind regards

Hello Paul,

just saw another "issue".
As I am using also modules - e.g. galleries - how is it possible to edit those in frontend ( in order with page builder ) ?
I don´t see any edit button or icon as it should be.
I already activated in joomla general configurations "edit as well in moduls"
but don´t see anything.

thank you
kind regards

If you cannot edit them from front-end it means that you have to do this only from back-end.
---
There are so many galleries so I am not sure about which one you are talking about.

Th.

Right - but I on otherside - I also cannot edit Menu etc - which is different to a special module like gallery.

actually I am using your gallery -- SP Easy Image Gallery Module

with "your" gallery - the only option to edit is via backend ? is the correct or is there a way to add picutures to a gallery or add new gallery in front-end ?

thank you Paul

kind regards

Right now from back-end only, of course, in future more improvements.
This is new product (2017), it's not possible to compete with others that have been on the market
for many years.

Ok I see - thank you Paul.

what do you think or know about simple image gallery pro ? do you have experience with this gallery ? possible to edit and add images in front-end ?

Hi,
I know this product sine 2010, as I remember. Still use PRO.

Great also for beginners.

So it is adjustable in front-end ?

no it seems not adjustable in front-end.
I just tested it and only see
that I can adjust sp page builder or add new Row etc. but not the module itselfe.

or I am doing something wrong ?

It use shortcode in article content. {gallery}FOLDERNAME{/gallery}
---
but to be honest it doesn't have advanced Image Manager as you can see in admin area.
So you have to upload image one by one.

Th.

it would be helpful to have a gallery with front-end editing but if there is no good gallery - then I stay on your gallery

Yes - but only can do it as well in backend - right ?

Both, during article edition. Because this is article/custom module content plugin !

Th.

More than a month ago #Permalink
ok but you know the exact module name of this gallery ?

Th.

More than a month ago #Permalink
first - yes - then you said this is also only by backend - am I right ?
and you said there is another gallery ( you don´t know the name acutally ) where it is possible to edit in frontend.

Or really possible with SIG in frontend ?
I haven´t seen any option to do it :(

No option, but you can use shortcodes and insert gallery by button.

Hello Paul - I found another forum entry here.... you suggested a css code

.sp-pagebuilder-modal-actions {
display: block !important;
visibility: visible !important;
}

is that normal ? shouldn´t be it without that code ?

thank you
kind regards

Paul Frankowski - Staff

More than a month ago #Permalink
Yes, it should.
But what is funny, I have never used this fix code in my projects,also my friends did not use it.
So it must be quite rare issue, maybe caused by template code.

Th.

More than a month ago #Permalink
Yes - guess also - by template code -- pity but however - you found a solution and that is great.

Thank you Paul
