GTranslate Module and menu

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi guys!

I am working on a language switcher and I have found a module called "GTranslate" it works fine for my case.
Apparently I wanted to add it on top to the menu to see it all over the site. When I am doing this, the fixed menu always disappears and doesn't show anymore. I added a position to the GTranslate module and relate it in the template settings under layout.

I am using onepage Template and Page Builder 2.4
here is my site: http://www.maass-brand.at
If you received the content the fixed menu should show up immediately after loading the site.

Thanks !

Hi Paul!

I have contacted the support team from Gtranslate and they gave me a solution to fix this problem. The only thing, why It didn't work was that the position of the menu (not the fixed one) has some problems.

Now I added a css in template.css for #sp-header {

top: 880px; }

It is working fine on my screen (1920x1080) but on other devices (e.g. notebook with a resolution of 1600x900) it is quite different and not on the right position...

How can I make a media query according to this problem?

On every device the top: xxxPX should vary so it is for every device the same position but not same css pixel.

Thank you!

Hi,
first, website made by you, very good first impression. Well done.
---
GTranslate = use Google Translator to translate content, auto-translator doesn't sounds professional for real business purposes . You have only one page, I suggest to order a real translation and then use language switcher from Joomla.
---
If your site is based on Helix3:
You can use this module inside menu bar. Just choose "menu" position for it.

Hi ! thanks, I am very glad to hear that from a professional developer.
Okay I tried with position "menu" but it was also the same case like it doesn't appear anymore.
Now I will try with the content and joomla language switcher.

Big thanks!!

Best wishes

Hi !

I have followed the instructions of the video you made for creating a multilingual site in Page Builder.

Now I have the problem that I actually used only english for my site, altough it is all written in german.
When I change the language of one sp page builder page (home) in german, the site crashes..

I have installed two different languages but had only one content language in english.

Thanks!

This setting is only to show errors not to disable website.
so it must be something else.

Please wait for SPPB 3 update which will fix multilingual problem.
