Header resizing bug

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Hi guys,
as you can test here: https://develop.egulp.net
I have the header 5 Logo +7 Menu
Into the Menu position, any module I publish (in this case the SEF Translate module):

1 - It is always appended to the top, while by default any module should be always vertically aligned into the "Basic > Header > Header Height". Please, How to have a vertically alignement ?

2 - Resizing the web browser width the SEF Translate module (max-width 160px) is moved practically immediately below and outside the header, while resizing:
- It should always wait as far as the logo+module width is not enough before to move the one at the right into a second line (if any other rule is applied), but
- in this case the "Basic > Header > Header Height" should be doubled = keeping the module (menu position) into the Header

3 - Please, How to horizontally align the modules into "menu" ? (right or center instead of left). I tried with:
#sp-menu {
text-align: right;
}
but it is not running....

Hi there,

Please turn off the SSL CloudFlare. For the SSL, the resource doesn't load properly. That's why the template layout doesn't load. Please contact your SSL CloudFlare provider to unblock the resource. Without Template layout access, it's not possible to change the header issue fix.

-Thanks

Hi Toufiq,
I'm always speaking and focused to find the bug solution (point 2).
This is the Server Provider answer:

" ...our SSL's are provided by Let's Encrypt. Cloudflare SSL's would only be in use if the domain was actually using Cloudflare. Checking the primary domain, it does not appear to be currently set to use Cloudflare so there should be no Cloudflare SSL to disable. You can use the following website to see what SSL a domain is using: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html
That being said, at least on our end for Let's Encrypt SSL there won't be a way to exclude a certain resource from the SSL. It could probably be achieved, but would need some custom code in the site to load that one resource over HTTP while allowing everything else to load over HTTPS... "

Are you sure it depend from Cloudflare SSL ?
Do you have more detailed informations I can send to the Server Provider ?
Please, Do you have any other suggestions ?

Hi Toufiq,
while I'm waiting instructions from you. Be careful, the

bug is still present in:

A - Helix Ultimate > Template Options > Template Editor Preview...

B - SP Page Bulder Pro > "Page x" > Frontend Editor...
(I had back a 404 Page Error:
Not Found - The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request
fixed adding the standard .htaccess joomla file that was missing on this installation)

3 - Please, How to horizontally align the modules into "menu" ? (right or center instead of left)...

I always thought it was a simple "CSS" issue fixing, but I checked into the CSS Custom template file and I'm not been able to find anything about. Please, What am I missing ?

3 - Please, How to horizontally align the modules into "menu" ? (right or center instead of left)...

Hi Toufiq,
thanks for reply. "Bugs" are still there.
Test site https://develop.egulp.net - Joomla 3.9.5 + Helix Ultimate 1.0.5 + SP Page Builder Pro 3.4.10
I hope you can read carefully step by step this answer:

2 - Resizing the web browser width the SEF Translate module (max-width 160px) is moved practically immediately below and outside the header,...

2A - Mobile view: Ok
2B - Tablet view: Bug - Resizing from desktop > tablet > mobile, on Tablet view the bug is still there - Video
2C - Helix Ultimate > Template Options > Template Editor Preview: Bug still there when resizing as in point 2B
2D - SP Page Bulder Pro > "Page x" > Frontend Editor: Bug still there when resizing as in point 2B

1 - ...by default any module should be always vertically aligned into the "Basic > Header > Header Height". Please, How to have a vertically alignement ?...
Bug - The "Select Language" Dropdown module seems to don't be vertically aligned - A image
1A - As far as I understand the sp-language column you added has a margin-top 10 pixels and a padding-left, padding-right 15 pixels. As far as I see I cannot manage Column Style as for Row Style to delete this pre-settings. Please, How Can I delete them ?!?
1B - Please, How can I have back all modules into the column vertically aligned (so also the sef_translate) ?!? (Not using margin and/or padding)
PS Anyway the Header is 56 pixels - sef_translate 38 pixels = 18 pixels / 2 = 9 pixels > and the Margin-top (that is not the solution I nedd) is 10 pixels. This is what cause a not well centered visualization.

3 - Please, How to horizontally align the modules into "menu" ? (right or center instead of left)...
Bug
3A - mobile view is well right aligned with the correct "Right" margin (compare it with left margin)
3B - desktop view (and maybe tablet view) it is not. I believe the cause is the sp-language column padding-right 15 pixels pre set. Please, again, as far as I see I cannot manage Column Style as for Row Style to delete this pre-settings. How Can I delete it (them) ?!?

Hi Toufiq,

2 - Please, What do you mean with "foolow the process" ?

- I upgraded HU from 1.0.5 to 1.1.1 on on one of my live sites but the bug is still there, it seems like that fix has not been included on new releases...
- Helix Ultimate > Custom Code > Custom CSS: I copied and paste all what you added
- As far as I see you also created manually a Custom.css into Helix Ultimate template folder...Why ? Why not put all into the custom CSS helix ultimate feature ?

So, the question is that bug, thanks to you, seems to be fixed on my Test Site
Now I have to fix it to all my live sites
I had up to date Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder Pro to last releases
But it seems to doesn't be ebough, Please, Can you provide detailed instructions on what I have to do ?

About vertical & horizontal issues, are Helix Ultimate / SP Page Builder issues:

1 - ...by default any module should be always vertically aligned into the "Basic > Header > Header Height". Please, How to have a vertically alignement ?...
Bug - The "Select Language" Dropdown module seems to don't be vertically aligned - A image
As far as I understand to the sp-language column the padding-left, padding-right 15 pixels Header Row Setting has been applied, but also a margin-top 10 pixels it has added.
1A - All the Columns should have Margin / Padding = 0 by default, no pre-settings, shouldn't have ?!?
1B - The Header Row Settings shouldn't be applied also to the Column Style, in my case for example the padding-left, padding-right 15 pixels Row Settings are applied also to each Column, but I don't want a padding-left sp-language column setting
1C - The same for the column verticla alignment, all the created Columns should be vertical aligned by default, shouldn't be ?! Please, How can I have back all modules into the column vertically aligned (so also the sef_translate) ?!? (Not using margin and/or padding)
1D - As far as I see I cannot manage Column "Style" as in Row settings to delete this pre-settings. Please, How Can we manage them ?!?

3 - Please, How to horizontally align the modules into "menu" ? (right or center instead of left)...

3A / 3B - I found a non wanted "margin-right: 10px;" into the custom.css file, removing it the issue has been solved
Bug - 3C - SP Page Bulder Pro > "Page x" > Frontend Editor: Bug the right alignement is not applied... - D image > I created a new forum SP Page Builder Pro topic as you suggested: https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/preview-column-alignment

Hi Toufiq,
step by step. Step 1 > In first of all I'm speaking about point 2, what I called "Header Resizing Bug":
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NQ-s92j3M235PiiEGkcL1BkO_ye40rGo
I tested it with more then one module (not only SEF Translator module) and I have back always the same behaviour.
For example I tested it with "SEF Translate module", "MultiTrans module", "Language Switcher module", £custom Icon module",,,etc...

So, I always have back the same Helix Ultimate BUG.
On my previous message I wrote: "Can anyone confirm the bug ?!?"

Now, during these weeks, you fixed it on https://develop.egulp.net test site, but that fix has not been included into last Helix Ultimate 1.1.1 and nobody here know what you made..
So, I prepeared to you another up to date (Joomla 3.9.6 - Helix Ultimate 1.1.1 - SP Page Builder Pro 3.4.11) test site https://test.egulp.net where you can check it. In this case I left published the Joomla standard Language Switcher module,.. (With same login credentials, anyway I resent it to you by PM)
But, be careful, I tested a lot of modules and resizing the browser window width I have always back the same Helix Ultimate BUG

Now, if you prefer to test it with a Joomshaper module you are free to do it on test.egulp.net and/or send it to me and I'll install and test

Hi Toufiq,
sorry, I don't understand your answer, Please, Will this fix be included in the next Helix Ultimate release?

A - Then, Please, instead to add a Custom CSS "float: right" to each module class, How to add it to all modules into the Column ?
I tried with "
#sp-language {
float: right;
}
But it doesn't run. Please, Do you have any suggestions?

B - As far as I see I cannot manage Column "Style" as in Row settings.
Please, How Can we manage them (Style) ?!?

C - Would not be better to have a Column empty Style settings (no margins, no paddings) ? Right now setting seem to be inherited from "Row" settings...

Paul Frankowski - Staff

If I may...

A - you have language module on the right side, what is wrong?

B - which exactly option from "Style" doesn't work for you, but please do not tell me that all of them, because this is not true.

C - Columns cannot inherit row settings, different areas.

joomleb

Hi Paul,
A - I want apply the right side to the column
#all modules I'll publish on column position, it is not running:
#sp-language {
float: right;
}
#not only to the specific module as I have right now:
.mod-languages {
float: right;
}

B - Helix Ultimate > Layout Builder > Row Options > Style
Helix Ultimate > Layout Builder > Column Options > ?!? (Style)

C - I mean: on Column creation should always be by default without margins, paddings and vertically, horizontally centered

Paul Frankowski - Staff

C - we need more users voices to decide. But thanks for yours.

B - OK, now I see. Added to wish-list

A - sorry, but we do not teach CSS here

joomleb

More than a month ago #Permalink
Hi Paul,
Thanks for answer!

A - Ok. Just asking confirm if it is right to apply rule class to Helix Ultimate columns using #sp-columnname

B - Thanks, meanwhile, Is it right the CSS class (point A) to customize columns settings?

C - Right now columns seem to inherit the Row settings, Please, Can you confirm it ?
What I mean is that a "neutral" "0" settings should be better (I suggest what is "neutral" for me) than an inherit behaviour...

Paul Frankowski - Staff

More than a month ago #Permalink
C - I told you they cannot. And they are not. If you don't believe me, please create a new Row with Two columns, publish there Custom module with "Lorem ipsum..." then use Code Inspector from browser. If you'll find padding or margin in Columns from Row setting and you can prove it I send you $25, deal?

Paul Frankowski - Staff

More than a month ago #Permalink
B - I don't know any class. Probably you have to create your own.
---
Advice:
Can you wait for Helix update like all users?
Find in your city CSS teacher, he can teach you basic stuff based on your website, this knowledge can help you. Investment in yourself.
