Help - Unable to replace logo image with my own logo image.

Featured Lock Resolved
Hi

I am new here. I went through all the discussions but unable still unable to solve my problem.
I've uploaded my logo image, png file in the media folder root directory,
There after went in to the template css and change from log,png to my own logo file image, png.
Refreshed and but my image logo not appearing.

Did I upload the image file image, png in the wrong place.? Pls adv in simple steps where to upload my logo image file? Is it in the root directory of the media folder or do I have to create subfolder (the subfolder names to create to place my logo image file.

Thanks.

Daniel,
please follow the path : templates\shaper_helix\images
Here you can see the original logo. Just replace the original logo with your desire logo, and use same name & same format for your desire logo.

Thanks. :)

Hi Sohan

Sorry very new to joomla 2.5.
Where is the location of "templates\shaper_helix\images"?
It's not in the media folder nor is it in the template css.

By the way I did not upload simplicity_ii source. (unable to upload due no xml file). Is this causing above problem?

Thanks.
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
You will find the path from where you installed the template. Then open the file & follow the path which provide you before. I hope it will be working fine then.
This not necessary to search media folder root directory.
And also clear the cache.

Dear Daniel,
This is really not necessary to store your logo image in media folder. Please store your logo image in the folder which path i already told you. Go the folder and you will find the default logo there. And please replace your logo by the default logo. But keep in mind that your logo and the default logo must have the same name and same format.

Thanks.
