How do change colour of confirmation text for acymail newsletter subscription module

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Hi,

Please advise where / how do I change the colour of the confirmation text that appears post website visitor signing up for newsletter list via the acymail newsletter module (tailored by you for the OneClip template).

Essentially, the background colour overlay I have applied to the module is brown and the confirmation text colour you have designed/specified is dark red. Thus my website viewers can't see their confirmation message and hence can't be sure they have subscribed!

Thanks in advance

ps: screenshot of your module with my own theme colours!

Hi there,

Check the site again and let me know.

From AcyMailing Module test module I have set redirection mode to Ajax. So that it will show you successful message on the form without page load.

Thanks.

Hi :)

Message appears in the module proper now! (screenshot attached) Great issue is resolved.

I would like to know whether the colour of the message could be yellow instead of green? Is that possible just to keep my website theme colours uniform.

Thanks

Hello there,

After added the email address it's showing :

You have successfully subscribed

Here it's using bootstrap info class called : alert-info. By default it's CSS background and color value is like that :

background-color: #2e3133;
border-color: #ffffff;

Now, you need to change this alert-info class background and color value in custom.css file. For e.g

.alert-info {
background-color: orange;
border-color: #ffffff;
color: #31708f;
}

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the code snapshot but can you confirm whether there should be an !important declaration?
I want my alert/confirmation text to be yellow so it will contrast well against my brown background overlay.
Can you confirm below is correct.

.alert-info {
background-color: orange;
border-color: #ffffff;
color: #daa520 !important ;
}

Thanks

Further, re above query - I have just noticed that my acymail newsletter module (as installed by JoomShaper) redirects to the subscription confirmation page ( I must have set to redirect via the acymail component dashboard).

So, at the moment when my users subscribe to my newsletter they are redirected in the same window and the home page closes!

I would like to know what I need to do so that the home page stay open on redirect and a new window open the the subscription confirmation page ?

Thanks 2x

HI there,

Above CSS code is correct. You can use it.

Can you give me administrator login details via pm. I need to check the redirecting issue.

Note : Don't forgot to send your forum post url.

Thank You.

Hi, how do I send you a pm?
I attach screenshot of acymail component where there is no 'redirection' and one from the 'module'. No redirection either.

:)

Hi there,

You can see a envelop icon to the top right corner of your question title. You can use it to send private message(pm).

Thanks.

Hello,

A big thank you!

Just for my information, I would like to know whether the custom css input box from the custom code tab from HELIX3 a better way to specify custom code rather than in a custom.css file from the template structure folders?

Let me know so I can 'learn' myself.

:)

Hi

You are welcome and I prefer custom.css.

Thanks.
