How do I remove the author info box from new articles?

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hello, I am using the Floox template for one of my websites and all new articles come with the "author info" box on the left side. I would like to remove those boxes from all of my articles, how can I do so?

The box that I am speaking about appears on the left side of the image in the attached. That image is from the template demo, in the site I am working in the box is totally blank but an outline is still present.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your answer, I tried your above suggestion and it did not work properly. I believe that you also may need a ; after the 100% in the second line, so I tried that as well and it did not work.

Do you have any other options?

Nothing changed either time that I input the code you provided. Due to client confidentiality I cannot provide the development URL in a public forum, is there any other way I can share it with you?

I think it will work if you make the following custom css:

body.view-article div.article-details-wrap .col-sm-3 {display:none;}
body.view-article div.article-details-wrap .col-sm-9 {width:100%;}

I am not sure if this does not break anything else.

Nope, it's class for single article view only.

It has been tested on 3 sites, always worked.

Using the helix ultimate framework, I can clear the icon for the author using the code suggested by setting the display to none, but I have not found a way to turn off the author's name.

I regard this as a persistent bug. It's something that needs a fix other than a quick fix in css.

Hi,

When I use it in Floox template:
body.view-article div.article-details-wrap .col-sm-3 {display:none;}
body.view-article div.article-details-wrap .col-sm-9 {width:100%;}

The corresponding sub menu gets out of its position

Any idea?

Are you 100% sure that it happens after using below code?

body.view-article div.article-details-wrap .col-sm-3 {display:none;}
body.view-article div.article-details-wrap .col-sm-9 {width:100%;}

you are right. Is not because of that code.
I just remove everything I have in custom.css but still the problem remains.

Any idea?

Thanks

Try this

#sp-header.menu-fixed .sp-megamenu-parent .sp-dropdown .sp-dropdown-inner {
margin-top: -70px;
}

read helix3 manual about custom css
