How to add menu heading to a drop down menu?

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi guys can someone tell me please how do I add a heading to a menu group?

So in my menu I have drop down menu on the first menu and a mega menu in the 2nd item. In mega menu you see there is a heading to the menu when you click it...

In the standard drop down menu I can't work out how to add that Heading title thing... can anyone help me here?

I've attached the image to show what I mean... any ideas?

Thank you!
A

Hi,
I am not sure if I guessed what you want, but ...
in menu you can use Custom module.

Hi Paul, all i want to do is put a title on the menu items in a drop down menu like you see in a mega menu....
Does that make sense?

But in Joomla Menu, you can create menu item with different types.
Whole rest depends on extra CSS styles which you will use.

Ok so the attached image is a screen shot of my current mega menu. You'll note that each menu set has an underlined heading, namely news, trade sector and suppliers... There is a green arrow pointing the headings so you know what I am talking about...

Now see the other menu image here, is the standard menu 'in brief' and you see there is no underlined menu heading in the gap where the green arrow is pointing. How can this be fixed?

I have tried adding it using adding a menu heading from the menu and it doesn't work...
I have attached the images as an upload here.

Please advise
Thanks!

EXACTLY

In that case, you need to do two steps only
Extra class name to menu item + extra custom CSS
I will show you more in next minutes.

Paul I just realised that there's an error...

The MENU item is the heading? ... no no we wanted the Heading to be separate from the actual heading.
I think i read the image you sent incorrectly, it's my fault apologies...

I wanted in actual fact was:

Menu Title
----------------
Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

What we have here in what you did is...

Menu Title <--- Link 1
----------------
Link 1
Link 2

Does that make sense?

Just think it doesn't hurt.
just add a new menu item, for example, separator, and use this same class name :p
