How to alter Color Palette on Barber Template?

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
On Barber Template, how does one change the color palette? There doesn't seem to be a way to edit the preset colors. I would like to change only one color, can you provide some instruction on how this might be easily accomplished? For example, which CSS file needs to be overridden so that with any template update the updated palette remains intact?

Hi there,

Thanks for your query. Please add this CSS code inside the custom.css file & change the background code.

#sppb-addon-1565174478068 .sppb-addon-title:after {
content: "";
position: absolute;
width: 57px;
height: 2px;
bottom: 4px;
right: -70px;
background-color: #000000;
}
#sppb-addon-1565176429495 .sppb-addon-title:after {
content: "";
position: absolute;
width: 57px;
height: 2px;
bottom: 4px;
right: -70px;
background-color: #ffdabd;
}

-Thanks
Toufiq,

I was looking to change the color #FFAA68 to a different color, throughout the template (it's in the preset, but the preset does not look editable).

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. If you enable the custom preset then your predefined preset will not work. You have to choose custom colors, background, colors, etc.

-Thanks
Thanks, Toufiq, I was reading that Helix ultimate has 8 presets, this template has only one. Is there an easy way to create or enable a second preset? I will test out the custom color scheme to see the results.

Hi @John Ehrhardt,

Extremely I am sorry. This is our secondary Template and there is no option. If you give me instructions which you wanna change, I will help you definitely.

-Thanks
Hi Toufiq,

I would like to copy the color scheme in preset1.css (this is color scheme for the template) to a second preset (like preset2) and then alter the following colors:

- substitute #ffaa68 with #b2bba8
- substitute #ffdabd with #b2daa8

Then I would select preset2 to have the color scheme updated to the palette I want. I'm assuming that since the two presets are identical except for the two color changes, that the whole template would show the new colors once the Preset2 is chosen.

There are multiple preset files in the template folders, but only preset1 is available in the Helix Ultimate for selection. How do you enable a second preset?

I tried the "custom colors" and found that things like buttons remained with the #ffaa68 color, while other colors changed leaving a hot mess.

Please see attachments for the areas I am referring to.

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry again. This is mistaken by the developer. There shouldn't be extra presets. Because of that, the secondary template doesn't provide one more preset. Please provide me the Joomla administrator access via PM. I will help you to change the color.

-Thanks
Hi Toufiq,

The palette can not be easily changed, but it can be changed. One needs to alter the preset1.css, the template.css and a variety of the css that is embedded inline in the sppagebuilder elements.

I guess, if you like the default color scheme, this template is a good choice for you. If not, prepare to do a lot of overrides.

Hi there, Thanks for your reply. I understand your queries. If you need to change or override colors then you can do it easily via writing custom css code.

Just create a custom.css file inside on your templates/your_template/css/custom.css file

-Thanks
