How to change or drop (hardcoded?) padding for #sp-main-section?

Featured Lock Resolved Issue

I noticed SPPB is adding hardcoded CSS padding to #sp-main-section. There seems to be no way to change this, unless you add custom CSS with !important to the page in question. (Leaving out !important will not work, as the hard coded CSS follows the custom CSS and overloads.)
Although this works as a valid work-around, it is a certified PITA for having to do this for all pages.

My questions:
1. How did this code get here? I can't grep it in the sources or template (ensure), and AFAICT there is no way to set this in the page options. I did import page templates.
2. Is there a better way to get rid of this unwanted inclusion?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Never mind, I found the answer myself. Ensure has the padding set in the default layout. Using Template Options/Layout Builder, I was able to reset it.

Sorry for the noise. Hopefully this will help someone else.
