How to disable blog style layouts

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
I'm using PageBuilder 3 to build all of my pages. I'm also using the PageBuilder integration element to use PB within base Joomla articles. So here's my question:

From within PageBuilder I want to display a list of articles by category (again, all built with the PB integration) so I'm using the "article" element within a base page. This works fine, displaying all of the articles within a category. However, if I now click on one of the articles being displayed the entire interface/layout changes to what I can only guess is some sort of Blog styled layout. I don't want that. I simply want to display the article as it would have been had I linked directly to it.

So, how to I disable this layout change?

Hi,
Thanks for your query. Actually you can't change the layout by default. Joomla provides some standard way to show the articles. You can get all the available option from the menu-item http://prntscr.com/l7w59q

Sifat,

I've looked into your suggestions and I'd like to ask a clarifying question. My testing has shown that this layout issue is specifically within the com-sppagebuilder component itself, not from within the core Joomla content library, so creating an override within there doesn't have any effect. I completely remove the com_content directory (/templates/shaper_hope/html/com_content/category) and it has no effect on the page because it's built within PageBuilder.

For clarification, the issue is when I select a particular article from within a blog listing of articles by category (again within PB). It's not the blog listing that's the issue, it's the layout of the selected article that is chosen from within that blog listing of articles. The selected article has absolutely no elements of the rest of the site.

Where would I look for adding an override within that environment? Is there a way of creating a override within SP PageBuilder that won't get overwritten on a component update?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. May be i can't explain you clearly. You can create an article content using pagebuilder. But that won't change the joomla core article layout. http://prntscr.com/lc3tny
Even if you use the joomla content to create your article content http://prntscr.com/lc3uqg
The layout won't change.
You need to customize the layout.

Note: custom support is beyond our support range.
