Hi,
In each Joomla since J!1.5 -- in Menu there is Menu Item Type : Articles > Create a Article

You need also login module or login menu item, because to send/add a article user have to be logged.

User group: Author / Editor
Those are suggested.
But if you are the only one, just Super Administrator.

I could not find any create an article menu in user menu section. It shows logout button only.

you have to add it !

New Menu item > Type : Articles > Create a Article
Access: registered.


Sorry but we do not teach Joomla basics. It was described, probably, in every book.
