Intro page !

Featured Lock Resolved
hi guys , how you doin ,
I use template "apps" in this project , contains arabic RTL and english LTR languages
I want to make an intro page to my joomla website
so I surf on the internet & I find this way to assign an article to be the an intro to my website

it's work good, but the problem is the main logo link (in every page)changed to lead to the intro again , instead of the home page !! (because I assigned an article to be default instead of the home page)
- Do you know how to solve this because I need the intro page to lead to my home page only ... & the logo lead to the home page only
- I like the idea of assigning an article to be the intro page , so I can put logos photos , slide shows freely
- do you have alternative way to assign article to be intro page without missing with the origingal logo links ???
please help me guys ,

P.s : I use your template in an internal portal for my work ;-p

I am afraid not. You need to change the logo link to your desired link instead of splash page.

thanks kowshar for your support so much , ...... I really greatful to you guys
I really need to figure this out before tommorow , is there's any way that I can solve this problem (changing the logo links)
because as I told you the logo normal behavior :
- in arabic version leads to arabic version home page

- in English version leads to English version home paga

but after I make my intro , the logo always leads to the intro again ,

- so can I change the logo link to lead to menu button 'home' or something ?

please guys help me out to finish this project & jump to the next one (the real estate)

much respect

Please edit your template's index.php file and put below code
<a id="logo" href="<?php echo $this->baseurl?>/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1&lan=<?php echo $this->language ?>"></a>

Instead of

<a id="logo" href="<?php echo $this->baseurl?>"></a>
