Please see the template settings Menu tab and from there you can set display level.

thanks for your response.

Am i missing something, when I go to the Menu tab in template settings the only option are:

Select menu
Menu Settings -> Menu Type - Column Width - Menu Image - Menu Image Type - Submenu Position
Menu Offsets -> Initial X Offset - Initial Y offset - Subsequent X Offset - Sunsequent Y Offset

I can't see any option for display level.

It will be possible in Helix Ultimate 1.0.3 , where you will be able to disable all submenu items from selected main item.

In Helix II and Helix3 - only custom CSS method.
