Short answer: No

Long answer: You should NEVER update core features on a runnig system without testing upfront (on a localhost-installation). If you don't have a local test environment, you can proceed like this:

  1. Take a full backup of your site (e.g. with Akeeba Backup)
  2. update SP Pagebuilder
  3. test and check every site if you see differences
  4. test backend-editing
  5. test frontend editing
  6. when everything looks fine and is working, you're done and lucky
  7. otherwhise roll back to your backuped status

Everything on your own risk! ;)

Thanks for the answer. That I know.
But I wonder if there are any successful upgrades out there already.

Eventum template was updated to work with SPPB 2.5.4,
it has 6 addons in template folder. I suggest to wait for official template update.

I installed SPPB 3.1 on Eventum QuickStart and seems be OKAY, no issues noticed.
yes, I was able to edit pages and addons from back-end.
