JomSocial requires Joomla 2.5.6 or above

Featured Lock Resolved
JomSocial indicates that it requires Joomla 2.5.6 or above, however, Shaper Social appears to be built around Joomla 2.5.1

Will JomSocial work with 2.5.1? I ask because I paid $150 for a license for JomSocial, and I want to use it with the Shaper Social template.

Thanks...

Steve

You can update your joomla from the admin by one click.

Apparently it updated itself not long after I installed it and asked the question. It was flagging me as having an old version from the quickstart package. I didn't have to do anything, which confirms that I don't have to worry about it.

Thanks for the answer!

I figured out where I was misunderstanding the issue. JoomShaper development simply updates the CMS core to higher versions for the downloads and quickstart packages, but it doesn't mean you can't update it manually after install.

And I guess this means that there may be bugs that have not been attended to in updates higher than version 2.5.1 for the Shaper Social template.

I'm clear now... the update works... but may not be de-bugged for 2.5.8 yet.

Thanks..
