K2 blog modal

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hello,

In the Blog (k2), when on an item view and you clic on the picture, it doesn't open the picture in a light box but rather open the picture in the full left corner of the window unlike other template. I've found that it uses K2modal, but the modal doesn't work as a normal modal. Any idea how to fix that.
Thank you,
Georges.

Thank you,

Go to this path:html/com_k2/templates/default and open the item.php file. Now go to line no 95 and you found a class: <a class="k2modal" make it: <a class="modal" .means remove the k2. And now put this code on your k2.css(path:templates/shaper_optima/css/k2.css) file.

.itemImageBlock span.itemImage a.modal{
position: inherit;
margin-left: 0;
}

Hi Sohan,

Unfortunately, I wasn't successful. The class modal was already "modal" and not "k2modal". If you look at the demo template on joomshaper's website for example this url http://demo.joomshaper.com/2013/optima/index.php/blog/item/5-aliquam-erat-volutpat-nam-sem-urna-sagittis-ac-tempor-non-rutrum-nec-mauris, you'll find that it does the same thing. Is there a way that the template be modified so that we can download it again?

If not I will give you access to the admin so you can look at it.

Thank you,
Georges.

Hello Sohan,

Thank you very much, it works great. May I ask you what you did or how to fix it as I will have to fix the copy on my localhost. That's the one I'm using to build the website before we move it. This was a work copy for the client to look at.

Best,
Georges.
