Hi there,

SP LMS doesn't differentiate between free and paid courses, so you can set 0 price for your free course and your visitors will have to register for this free course the same way, they do for a paid one.

The answer is yes, as SP LMS uses Joomla's own registration component. Please keep in mind that third party components, like Kunena and others, have also their own user registration system, which you can use instead of Joomla's.

For the free courses in your demo I don't see a registration option. How do I make that appear ? On your paid courses in your demo I see a check out option but then I only see a login option and not a registration link for new users. I am going to only offer free courses and need to be able to open these courses for registration. There is a upper limit on the class size. The actual class will be live via GoTo Meeting/Webinar (separate account). This LMS will only handle registrations for courses and later will have the links on the past course classes for the recording that anyone can come and watch. Please give me a detailed response so I know that purchased the right tool to accompalish this else I seek a refund.
Thanks

Hi Alex,

I too am interested in this question. I just tested this with a dummy course, and I can access the free course without registration. What did I do wrong?

In current, version 1.2, Super Admin can add free courses to menu item which is available only for registered users. So you can write short message,
"yes, we have e-lessons here but first register, to see them, next login and you will be able to see them." or something like that.

Super Admin must use default joomla registration and login system, because SP LMS right now do not have its own.

Alex's answer previously to this question was confusing and I believe your product as is will not do what I am wanting it to do. Please refund the amount I paid to purchase this product. Thanks
