Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of using SP LMS as a sign up platform for volunteers, i.e. so that volunteers can sign up to work at given events. To this end, I'd like to use the cart so that they can send off several registrations in one go.
A few things I've come across:
[*] I've added two events on 2019-07-12, but the LMS Event Calendar highlights them during the month of July 2018. Is there a way to preset the calendar to a given month? Our events happen only in July each year, so next in 2019.
[*] if I click on the highlighted date it takes me to the homepage, rather than the sign up routine. What am I missing or how do I activate the registration functionality?
Thanks!
Roger

Thanks ... but I've see that before. "The Cart module in SP LMS 3.x works as you would expect. After publication it displays a shopping bag icon. Once a visitor adds courses to his/her shopping list, hovering the mouse on the cart will show the selected courses list. Example appearance used in one of our templates:" doesn't really help as I can't actually "add a course to my shopping list" because they don't show on the even calendar.
Should I be creating events or courses and, if it's courses, how do I best display them for selection?
Thanks,
Roger

Hi Toufiq,
So, I've set up a course category, a course, and a lesson for testing. After adding all the necessary modules, I can see the three categories, but if I click on the one that has the course and lesson behind it, I get thrown right back to the homepage. How can I set up the drill down into the lesson?
Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.

1. Course category need for the courses
2. Lesson depends on course
3. If you create lesson then you have to select the course

Yep, and that's what I've done: created a course category, a course (linked to the category), and a lesson (liked to the course ... but I can't get to the actual lesson in order to book it. After clicking on the category I'm thrown right to the homepage.

Also, I've added a course search, which finds the category, but won't let me klick on it...

Thanks!

P.S. I've noticed that I have that problem on other pages, too. I'm using the Eventum template and have some movies listed, which only link back to the homepage, as well, rather than to their detailed information. I think there's a bigger issue here...

Hi there,

The Movie listed, Eventum & LMS is the very different extension from each other. Please don't confuse me. I have sent you the credential. You can check the details from the URL. If you need any feature you can suggest us.

-Thanks

Wait, now I'm confused: I'm using the Eventum template and have added the LMS and Movie listing extensions, which should be compatible, no? Both the LMS and Movie Database have issues with linked pages, as far as I can see...
I'm not asking for any feature requests, but for your support in getting the above to work. If I'm going about this the wrong way, please let me know how to get your support.
Thanks.
