Major issue with SP Page Builder (is there a support ticket option or just this forum??)

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
This has happened to me twice but with other content... and both times it's been an issue with creating a module in SP Page Builder.

I have our homepage content as an SP Page Builder module. A few weeks ago, I duplicated an existing homepage content module so I could perform some major updates to the content on the homepage. I updated the content and then made the new module live while disabling the old module. everything has worked great... until today.

So, after 3 weeks of working fine, the new (duplicated) homepage content module is EMPTY! Nothing's there and the homepage only had a header and a footer. I enabled the old homepage content for now but WHY DID THIS HAPPEN and how do I fix?

My new homepage module is still listed in Joomla's modules but there's no SP Page Builder content or rows. It completely emptied itself of all SP content.

This is unsettling to say the least! I would revert the database back to a version before today but I added a number of articles (seminars) to the website today and there have been a number of new registrations just today.

HELP!

This is how the module looks now...

Hi,
Thanks for your query. Please read this post about the module issue. https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/sp-page-builder-module-not-working-after-updated-to-3-4-11-possible-solutions
This post is already pinned in our forum.
Also i need to clear you a thing that if you duplicate a module created with pagebuilder, the module content won't be copied. So, if you duplicate a module which is created with pagebuilder then the copied module won't get any data from the previous module.

Hope this information will help you. And if you didn't find my informations helpful then please create a screencast of your current problem. That'll help to get your issue easily.

-Best Regards

The odd thing is I actually duplicated the module, modified it, and it worked for almost a month. Then suddenly, the content was gone.

I was able to get my content back yesterday by doing a full backup of my site, then restoring from a previous backup where the module content was still there, exporting that SP module content to JSON, restoring the site using the most recent backup, and then importing the JSON into the empty SP module. Fun!

I'll make sure we don't duplicate modules again, but rather, export the content to JSON and import into a new SP module.

I'm guessing SP pages can be duplicated without issue? I don't think I've had an issue with duplicating an SP page yet.

To duplicate a sp page you need to to export the page json and import it to a new page. And there is no issue there.

So, don't use the "Save as Copy" function?

You can use this too. No problem here.

This EXACT same problem happened again!! ...to the same module for my homepage. Luckily I had a relatively recent export of the SP module contents but even when I imported this into the SP module it wouldn't work. Public page was still blank!

I had to use a different module and import the JSON file that I exported a few weeks ago. Importing into the new module worked.

It seems something is getting corrupt on its own without any human interaction. And it only seems to be happening to the homepage module content.

This is our homepage! Most traffic starts through here and I really don't want this happening again. Can you all figure out what's going on? If you need the JSON file, I'll attach.

Would you please share a video of your issue that will help to get your issue easily. And please share the json thus we can check that in our end.

JSON file uploaded... but I can't really create a video since I've already recreated the module again. I'll try to describe how the homepage is set up and what happened...

All homepage content is contained within an SP Module. Content that's currently on the site now (at https://www.footlevelers.com) is in that module (minus header/footer).

History
Back in June, I went to the homepage of our site and all I could see was the header (with logo, navigation, hamburger menu) and footer. ALL content in-between was empty. When I looked at the homepage SP module, it looked like the screenshot I originally posted (above)... it was empty. So, I restored a previous version of the site from backup, exported out the homepage SP module to JSON, restored to the most recent site, and then imported the JSON file into a new homepage SP module and assigned that module to the homepage... disabling the previously broken one.

Repeat of Issue
So, a month goes by and this new homepage SP module I created in June went blank again. The module wasn't open in Joomla and I hadn't updated it in a while. It, suddenly without my intervention, became empty (the contents of the module erased). I could still open the module, but the SP content was no longer there... just like the first time.

Since I had exported this module to a JSON file, it was a relatively easy fix, but I had to create a new SP module again since simply importing the JSON file into the module that suddenly became empty, didn't work for some reason. The module had to be recreated from scratch for the import to work and display the contents on the homepage.

Thanks for your explanation. You are using a full page as a module?? Strange!! Module are small portion of a page.
Btw i've imported that in my end and all is working fine here.
What you can do please check the suggestions from this post https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/sp-page-builder-module-not-working-after-updated-to-3-4-11-possible-solutions
http://prntscr.com/oje4rp

For now that's what i can suggest. I'll keep an eye on my imported page and will check again if i can recreate the issue.

Thanks again for your clear explanation.
