Management of the Article Scroller Addon in SP Page Builder

Featured Lock Resolved Task
How do I include an image within the content text area of this scroller? And how do I hide the category text below the intro text. Also, there is a redundant repeat of the article title showing above the scroller block where the default image displays. I want to hide that text.

The advance arrows or icons are just displaying as thin, horizontal lines.

Thanks for your query. Sorry there is no default feature to turn those off. But you can use very little trick there to solve your issue.
Please check this screenshot

Note: Sorry there is no default feature to change the layout.

-Best Regards
Here is a sample of how I want the scroller articles to look like.

This seemed to work at least to hide the text elements. Still working on placing the image, but I'm pretty sure it will be with css:

Hides the background color behind the articles, and also hides the box shadow:

.sppb-articles-carousel-content {
background: none; /* #ffffff - this was also hidden in Page Builders content style options */
box-shadow: none !important;
padding: 0 !important;
margin-bottom: 0 !important;

Hides the category type text:

.sppb-articles-carousel-meta-category a {
font-size: 14px;
font-weight: 600;
color: #95a5a6;
display: none !important; /* Hides the category type text beneath the truncated intro text */
margin-top: 10px;

Hides the alt text box (this may also hide the image block):

.bx-wrapper img {
max-width: 100%;
display: none !important; /* block - changed to hide the alt text - make sure it doesn't hide the article image too */

Hides the date text:

.sppb-articles-carousel-meta-date {
color: rgba(0,0,0,.6);
font-size: 14px;
display: none !important;
